Luxury Essence: Redefining Modern Low-Level Luxurious Style

A Sophisticated and Exquisite Residential House Design by Wang Yu Cheng

For centuries, the definition of luxury has been associated with complexity, opulence, and accumulation. However, designer Wang Yu Cheng seeks to redefine the essence of luxury through their latest project, Luxury Essence. By experimenting with material utilization and embracing a rational yet fantastical approach, Luxury Essence aims to create a space that evokes a sense of belonging and redefines the modern low-level luxurious style.

What sets Luxury Essence apart from other designs is its unique interpretation of modern luxury. Wang Yu Cheng carefully reinterprets this style through the use of materials, color saturation, proportions, furnishings, and light atmosphere. Extensive research and analysis of the room's lighting during different seasons have been conducted to redefine the vivid expression of each space under natural light sources. The result is a soft and inviting atmosphere that immediately makes residents feel at home.

The realization of Luxury Essence is made possible through the use of advanced construction techniques and carefully selected materials. Wang Yu Cheng aims to convey a relaxed, tasteful, and exquisite space idea by utilizing natural, environmentally friendly tiles, natural stone, metal, imported low-formaldehyde plates, and natural wood veneer. These materials allow for the linear design to take center stage, creating a harmonious and visually appealing space.

The indoor area of Luxury Essence spans approximately 168.48 square meters, providing ample space for residents to enjoy the laid-back and luxurious atmosphere. The design team, led by Wang Yu Cheng, has meticulously crafted each aspect of the design to ensure a seamless and functional living experience. From the indirect and direct light source co-combination to the open shelf and bookcase design, every element has been carefully considered to create an all-round reading space with both storage and use functions.

Located in Hinchu city, the Luxury Essence project began on October 1, 2017, and was completed on November 30, 2017. Throughout the design process, extensive research was conducted to understand the spatial gradients and temperature variations brought about by each seasonal period. This research allowed the design team to redefine the expression of each space under the natural light source, creating a truly immersive and dynamic environment.

Overcoming creative, technical, and research challenges, Wang Yu Cheng successfully created a design that bridges the gap between the spiritual and material worlds. Through the composition of linear surfaces, Luxury Essence provides a medium for communication with the nature of life. This design challenges traditional notions of luxury and presents a new interpretation of its essence.

With its exquisite attention to detail and sophisticated design elements, Luxury Essence has been recognized for its excellence. The design was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in 2019 in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category. This prestigious award is given to designs that meet professional and industrial requirements, integrating industry best practices and competent technical characteristics. Luxury Essence is a testament to the power of innovative design in creating a better world.
